Do i have to wash my apron for chemistry lab?

I have a lab apron that I've used for the past 3 quarters and I have never washed it so I was wondering if I do have to wash? See I'm not sure if I was supposed to wash it because I remember that my professor said if you wash the apron there was a very big chance of getting chemicals in the washing machine. I would like to know If I should wash the apron?

Well i do wash my lab apron regularly coz after all it is a cloth.

And if your professor says u'll get chemicals in washing machine you could always wash it by hands after soaking it in water.

    that's how i do it.

It extremely relies upon on what you're doing. if you're attempting to do residing house stuff to exhibit your little ones, than some flat bottomed flasks ramen cooker will be adequate for most chemistry experiments. if you're going to finish a touch more beneficial stepped ahead chemistry, than a hotplate stirrer and a common "microscale kit" will be adequate to do about 75% of each little thing you'll see in a textbook. if you're thrifty, you'll stumble on those 2 products for about $400. as long as you stay small scale, chemistry should be performed effectively and wisely interior the residing house. i have listed below 2 microscale synthesis textbooks (organic and organic and inorganic) and a microscale kit for reference.
