Ranger cap on toyota pickup?

I have an 88 toyota pickup regular cab with a 6' bed, but I am having trouble finding a cap to fit over the bed from another toyota. Is it possible to fit a ford ranger cap over my truck if they are both the same length? I see rangers everywhere in my area, but no toyotas. Thanks

    I don't think the caps are compatible even if they are the same size because they mount differently. Here's an info page that covers most of the North American manufacturers of truck caps:

    Most of the manufacturers have local distributors that may be able to help you. Find the manufacturer that made your cap and check them out.

    They are so close, but NO. I believe the Ford have smaller bed. I remembered trying to fit a Ford Ranger shell onto a toyota and they were the same dimension but it doesn't fit.
