  • Ranger cap on toyota pickup?

I have an 88 toyota pickup regular cab with a 6' bed, but I am having trouble finding a cap to fit over the bed from another toyota. Is it possible to fit a ford ranger cap over my truck if they are both the same length? I see rangers everywhere in my area, but no toyotas. Thanks

  • 88 Toyota Pickup Gear Ratio?

Would any one happen to know the STOCK rear end gear ratio on a 1988 Toyota pickup v6 4x4? I am guessing it would be a 4.10 but I am not sure. I am not about to take my rear end apart to find this out either. As far as I know the previous 2 owners did not make any modifications relating to off road usage.

I currently have 30 inch tires. I wanna go up to 35s soon.

    Thanks in advance

  • Chevy k5 vs k10 truck?

What are the main differences between the 80s k5 blazer and k10 pickup. Besides the payload capacity, is the k10 pickup stronger than the k5 blazer? or vice versa

By the way, this would be my first pickup truck. It wont be an everyday driver but rather more on occasion for leisurely activity; not much heavy hauling.

  • Gas Prices/ Health Care- Monopolies?

I could be very wrong so somebody educate me if need be (and do so with an unbiased point of view.... i.e. dems vs gop.. that is not what this question is about)

Could the consistently high gas prices be due to there only being a small handful of oil companies and thus creating a monopoly.. being able to charge whatever they want. It seems like it does not have that much to do with how much the middle eastern states are charging us per barrel.

Could this same issue be relevant to health care?

Perhaps the fact that there are so few of these large corporations has turned them into monopolies.. and if so, what can we or the government do to step in and stop this without disobeying laws?

Thanks in advance. Again, none of that childish biased b.s. (dems/gop)

  • First pickup truck? 10 points!?

Hello, I am a typical college student and I already have a car. I am very likely going to get my first pickup truck sometime later this spring for occasional drives. This truck will be for things like hunting/fishing/camping/yard work/rare construction work/seldom off roading/messing around with friends (something to beat up).

I am looking at a mid 80s chevy or gmc c/k (preferably k10).. or a 93+ ford ranger. I will get either of these trucks raised with perhaps a body lift and get bigger mud tires.

The chevy has the cool factor, and the added power and room when i need it.. but it is also less cost efficient.

The Ranger is apparently much more cost efficient... and also pretty nice

Also... what should I look for when i go to buy one of these used. Any Red flags?

I would love to know any of your opinions and experiences. This is kind of an elaborate question but the trucks are very different and I want my first truck to be something I can love.

  • Hardwood floor in a 2nd story addition?

We added an addition to our house about 10 years ago. The bottom floor to the addition is the dining room and the 2nd floor is my bedroom. Part of the bedroom is in the original house and the other part is the addition. Under the carpet we currently have there is a layer of plywood.

I want to rip the carpet out and a put in a new hardwood floor.

Is this possible since the addition flexes due to the seasons??? Can I cover up the uneven spots with a rug or should I lay a couple layers of plywood over the existing plywood to make it even?

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Mosin Nagant Accuracy good enough?

I just started getting into hunting this year and I purchased a 91/30 mosin (7.62-54 russian). After dumping about $400-$500 into it and customizing it as much as I could (some say i am just polishing a turd... lol), it now shoots roughly 4 inch groups at 100 yards with surplus ammo, off of a front sandbag rest with a 2x scope....

I am wondering if it is worth it to start handloading or should I just stick with manufactured hunting ammo that is about the same price? I wanna be accurate enough to shoot a deer out to about 200 yards (Pennsylvania mountains)

  • Question about Red Dot Scopes?

just got a mosin nagant 91 30 and i wanna get a red dot scope.

I will remove the rear sight pin and attach a picatinny rail or just mount the scope without the rail.

The mosin is 7.62 by 54r (obviously) and this gun WILL be for whitetail hunting AND recreational shooting. I just wanted to know what you guys think of either the Leatherwood Hi-lux red dot scope versus the Millett sp-1 red dot scope. They are both low to medium price range and they look pretty good to me.... which one to get????

  • Question about snowboard size.?

I have a snowboard that I got around 6-7 years ago. It is a snowjam snowboard and it is 138cm. I am 5'10'' tall. Im well aware that I should be using a board much longer than that but I have become very comfortable with a board that size. I went to the mountains the other day with this board and I loved it. I also borrowed my friend's board which is around my size and I did not like it at all. When I ride I like to have a narrow stance with a short board.

My question is will it be bad for me or the board if I continue to use a board this small because I weigh somewhere around 210 pounds.

  • Is America losing its culture to Jews?

Is America beginning to take on a new face through the media and politics? Almost everywhere I look I see things being done out of Jewish interest, like movies, news media and even politics.

I am not a person to side with any religion but I do acknowledge that mostly white/Christian people constructed this nation into much of what it is today.

Another big problem with this is that every time a person comes to criticize any single Jew in any way, even if it has nothing to do with religious criticism, they are labeled an "anti semite."

This really bothers me, and I know it bothers many other people.

  • Question about atheists?

I am an open minded person and have recently stumbled upon many atheist views. Correct me if im wrong but apparently atheists only believe in what can be proven? Well my question is: Do atheists believe there is life beyond planet earth? Since we cannot actually prove there is life on other planets in different galaxies, does that mean (in an atheist's terms) that we are the only beings of our kind to exist? Thanks in advance
