How to give a notice to your job?
i started my job about a month ago and i work less than part time. (seems like more than that though with how often ive been working) anyway im 16 and i go to public school and i work at a retirement home as a culinary assistant which invloves prepping food and serving and dishes and blah blah. its a lot to juggle right now as i need to focus more on school and find a better job that doesnt make you stand in a hot kitchen for a long time. plus i dont like my co workers. i only work on tuesday this week and i really want to quit right away. how can i tell them that my last day is tuesday?
i know its a bad idea but i made up my mind and its just to hard to juggle this job right now. do i tell my boss in person on tuesday or do i right a letter and take it in tomorrow?
thanks!

First of all you don't need to give notice if you don't have an employment contract. If you do have a contract and you've worked there for over a month then you have to give 1 weeks notice. If they still owe you your wages, they can and will deduct a whole weeks pay if you refuse. It happened to me! Good luck.

Two week notice is considered the right thing to do. But if you've made up your mind you aren't going to do that, tell them asap.
