First day of college questions!! 10 points?
Tomorrow is my first day of school.. I like dressing up, not like forever 21.. But like more grown up sophistication. I'm only 19, but I'm tall and a bit on the heavy side..dress size 12-14.. I feel so bad because I'm fat. Is it ok to dress up that much on the first day? Isn't over the top? I kinda want to recreate myself. I want to be sophisticated.. Like, mysterious, a bit distant, smiles but never burst out laughing, friendly but not too close, and most of all eloquent.

You are NOT fat if you are tall. Dress sizes have not been standardized for the last 25 YEARS or more, because different clothing manufactures have their own standards of which size is put on a label. If you wear size 14 dress, you may wear size !0 dress made by another company. YOU ARE NOT FAT. Hopefully you are not anorexic skinny. and 5'11". That would be not be healthy at all.
Learn how to sew. When you can make your own clothes, you can adjust the pattern to fit YOU. Learn how to knit or crochet, so you can knit or crochet your own sweaters and tops. I did, and it's given me many hours of pleasure, along with some frustration, hobbies where I can WEAR what I make FOR YEARS, even DECADES. .
If you want to dress up for the first day of classes , great, but don't wear something that is too hot for the weather just because it's the first day of class. Dressing in layers is always good advice, so you can take things off as the or put them back on as the temperature changes through the day. Look at the weather forecast for tomorrow. If you want to change your style of dressing, this is one of the best times of your life to start that change, but don't throw out all of your old clothes just yet.

Hmm just wear what you feel most comfortable in. Don't dress up so much that you will feel akward and not yourself. Sounds like you have a more H&M sophisticated style :)

Well we don't even have a picture of you to decide if you were over the top eh? And no cares that much in college, be yourself, do what you do best and just be friendly.
