Paypal wanting to call to confirm im owner?

If they do call you, they should ask you the security questions you should have set up when you opened the account, things such as your first school/pet/Mother's maiden name. I am certain that I have changed my password before, and I am also sure nobody called me as I had to enter my security answers before I could change my password. Good luck!

I change my paypal password at least once a year and they have never called me. They have emailed me asking me to confirm, basically what i had told them when opening the account.

First rule is -

DO NOT EVER give details of accounts, personal details, or ANYTHING, to ANYBODY who calls and asks for YOU to verify who YOU are.

DO NOT even verify your name (cos once they have your name and your phone number YOU can be traced and your address found)

cos - How do YOU know THEY are who they say they are?

Second rule is -

YOU call them on a number YOU know to be THEIR number. and ask THEM if they called.

wait for them to call, you seeking to prepare by asking here could present as being suspicious.

it should be things you will either have to hand, your middle name or address etc, or something you should be able to get easily.
