Can you help me with my iPod issues...?

I have an iPod nano and it will not show anything on the screen but the white apple logo, it plays music and it synchs fine. I tried restoring it and it does nothing to fix it, do you have any idea what's wrong with it and how I can fix it? thanks

    It might help to reset it by holding both the center button and the dial at the same time. The nano will reset that is it is it a 5th gen. I hope this helps.
