If there IS a God, does being baptised make me go to heaven even if I don't believe in him?
I asked my dad if I could be baptised at age 8 after he brainwashed me through childhood to be a Christian, Does that mean IF there is a God I would go to heaven anyways?
I wouldn't want to with so many preachy people there anyways...

Paradise earth all the way!
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the EARTH, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

If you have that kind of mentality, it would be better off being baptized in one of the hundreds of trinity(father son holy ghost) churches down the street. There were 2 servants the one went and squandered everything and the father welcomed him back. The other stayed with his father and had envy for the other. If you are going to regret the decision, why you bringing it up in the first place.
But if you are going to be baptized know that it must be in the name of the God whom you crucified. The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2:36-38

i think of you're able to shop on with your question to all of us who won't have grasped the entire which skill in the back of baptism -- not purely the 13 twelve months olds. considering that comprehensive which skill has to do with accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior, the only way you're able to certainly understand is to ask questions like the Jehovah's Witnesses do, making actual particular that the main appropriate concept is in place. i'm not a JW, yet once you choose comprehensive which skill, that could desire to be the thank you to flow approximately it. something much less is up for conjecture. the alternative is to deliver all of us to heaven with or without baptism, and make baptism itself thoroughly non-obligatory. quite some mainstream Protestant Christianity has opted for the latter.

Baptism is part of the process of pledging ones self to be a seeker of God's will. It symbolizes our sharing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
Otherwise it is just getting wet.
Perhaps it would be better to seek an answer to "If there is a God."

FAITH only pleases GOD..
Why do think HE wouldn't KNOW you are LYING?
It's one of "character traits" of the DEVIL. GOD is HOLY and does NOT tolerate SIN.
