Why is my five month old sleeping worse than when she was first born?
My daughter started sleeping longer periods of time, sometimes even seven to seven and a half hours before waking up when she was about two months old. Now at five months, instead of getting better like I hoped, she is constantly waking up at night. She wakes me up every hour or two. When it gets to be around six a.m. is when she will sleep about four hours before waking up. She doesn't sleep much during the day so I know it's not cuz she's not tired.

It could be teething. My daughter is exactly the same. Every hour and a half usually but on occasions she might go 3hrs. But as soon as 6am comes I put her back down and she sleeps till about 930!! It's really stressful. Shes nearly 10months and she still does it :(

one of my twins did this!
they both started sleeping through at 4 weeks but after the 10 week mark one would wake up and scream causing her sister to wake up and creating havoc at 3 am!
I changed her last feed to 30 minutes later and made sure I gave her teething powder before setting her down for the night and it worked a dream so you could try that. Teething powders are really good!

She's probably teething. Mine slept through the night at 6 weeks, then started teething at 6 months and I couldn't work out what was wrong, particularly as her teeth didn't actually pop out til 8 months. Try some teething remedies and good luck :-)
