Feeling weird about my crush... </3?

Hello everyone my names Annabel and I have this HUGE freaking problem lol.

Okay so about 3 weeks ago I started High School and I meet this really really sweet guy let's call him (cisco) :) To be honest.. he is my dream guy :) and i finally found him hahahaha!

Okay so here it is.

The first day I met him I felt this really really magical amazing feeling that i have never felt before for someone else, it's like an explosion of emotions it's amazing :) At first we didn't talk at all because we didn't know each other and I kinda use to think he was weird af.. but once we started talking and laughing and getting to know each other, it became very physical and very very internal.. We flirted tons and he made me feel so good :) But just last week i took this long walk with a friend of mine and he mentioned something about cisco having a girlfriend and it confused the **** out of me because HELLO if I like you and you're flirting with me and you know you're making me feel butterflies in my stomach than why are you with someone else?.. but whatever i grew the balls and messaged and asked him about it and he said he doesn't have a girlfriend and that he broke up with her a really long time ago. He hasn't told me he likes me (face-to-face) BUT i feel it, as a girl i know when a guy likes me and when they're interested.. See we all sit together in lunch, me him, and 7 other boys and we play around a lot and laugh about the most retarded stuff LOL, but once they try to touch me or talk to me too close cisco get's so mad and doesn't like it, he pushes them away and just hates it because he's actually like "WTF"..

and blahhh..

so today at math class we had time off and we wer looking around his year book from last year and one of my other friends pointed at a picture with this girl in it and he said how much she looked like a bird lol... and it turns out that was cisco's EX girlfriend.. and he defended her saying "how shes not a bird and saying he had a great year with her".. -___- and it made me feel like crap, it broke my heart and it made me depress for the entire day :( i felt bad :'( because i like him so much and it sucks, and even I broke up with my bf a month ago as well, and i dont talk about him infront of anyone, but idk..

either he doesnt know i like him,

or he does know, and doesnt care cause he likes her better..

or he said it to bother me cause boys are like that ..

Guys!!!

i really need some honest answers from your personal experience! once again i really like him what should i do? i dont wanna give up on him, i like him A LOT.
