Stepped in dog poop by accident?

I tried wiping it off with paper towels and wet wipes, and now I am letting my shoe soak in soapy water in the bathroom sink. But I was wondering if this is has ever happened to you, and if so, what do you think is the best way to clean it off?

    it has happened to me

get it out of the water right away it will just make it worst. you first let the shoe dry completely sitting with the bottom where the poop is sticking up. then once its completely dry you can get the poop off with a stick or needle something hard and has a point. THEN if it's not off u simply get a paper towel and wet it with dish soap and carefully rub so that the paper towel doesn't tear

    hope i helped

Stepping barefoot into a fresh cow plop is fun, too! That can be washed off in the creek. On a shoe, clean it with a hard bristle brush. Don't forget to Clorox the sink when you're through.

With 5 dogs,I can say I have had my fair share:)In addition to what your already doing find yourself an old or cheap toothbrush and start scrubbing, just make sure to toss the brush when your done,LOL.What's even worse is walking out into your lawn at night with no shoes or socks on,after one of my lovely dog's has conspicuously made a fresh deposit, need I say more?

Really? You really have to ask this question??? Get a scrub brush and put the shoe underwater and scrub it!?!?!? Like really! Common sense!
