Should I get an iphone5 or the Galaxy S3?

I currently have the HTC evo, never owned an iphone. I'm seriously considering buying an iphone but my wife keeps telling me I should get the galaxy s3 since she loves androids.

Would anyone please weigh out the advantages of either or for me?

    S3, iphone is simply way behind and is surviving off its brand names only.

    I had the Evo and now have the S3. It's a quantum leap forward and a technological marvel. The iPhone is a wannabe. Why ride a pony when you can ride a horse?
