Faux granite kitchen counter resurfacing..what was your experience?
Thinking of renovating the kitchen a bit. Has anyone had any experiences with faux granite - the stuff that's painted on the counter tops? Insights? Suggestions? Success? Failure?
I've watched several youtube videos but anything you can share would be appreciated.
Thanks!

If its Formica (plastic) you can rough up the surface with sand paper and apply another sheet of Formica. If it's actually paint I'd pull up the top and replace everything. It's next to imposable to restore a painted counter top.
