Bad Habit Help Needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hi guys, so I have a really bad habit that I need help with.

So, whenever I find myself looking at an A or a 97% or lower on a test, I find myself usually getting angry and mad for the whole day. It just happened recently in fact. I learned that I got an "A" in science and for the rest of the day in school, I was just really mad and angry. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I know, you guys might be like "get over it" but I try but I can't. It's like some evil voice in my head that is just taunting me. Can you guys help me change this bad habit? Thank you for giving up your time to answer my question!

You are probably a bit OCD or perfectionist. I have the same problem, just look at you're overall grade and calculate it. If you are 3.9 or 4.0, you should be just fine and this problem will lessen a bit. Good luck!

You associate getting an A mark with something negative... it could be anything in your past/subconscious. Whatever it is, you need to start associating getting an A with something else.

For instance, everytime you get an A, treat yourself to a big icecream treat, watch a movie, or think happy thoughts.

my girlfriends like that. straight A honours Ap student, but if she gets s 95 we'd all better hide our women and children haha. just try to reassure yourself that this is a good grade and that you are doing well. as well try to distract yourseld from it
