October 2011: Steve Jobs told Obama: "You're heading for a 1-term presidency"?

yeah, nice prediction einstein.

Intrade now lists Obama's chances at 78%.

he's leading by double-digits in every swing state.

The historians, who have predicted every election in modern history correctly, once again got it right; Obama won. They predicted this a mile away; back when the polls had them tied.

What would prompt Steve Jobs to predict this?

Apple is company that's known to be liberal on social issues; in 2008 they donated $100k to keep gay marriage legal in California.

but it seems that as far as fiscal issues go; Steve Jobs leans Republican.

he's a business owner and wants more freedom to run his business however he wants even at the expense of common decency. Not that Apple is a bad company but....

My analysis: HIs prediction that Romney would win was based far more on hope than on logic.

Update:

@Southern Consort: Most experts believe the DOW is heading for 17,000 as early as next year.

He has a poor hold on reality and is in denial. As the richest man in the US,he supports Romney, but it won't help him any , because Obama is the winner

    Hope this helps

It sounds pretty accurate to me.

No President with Obama'a economic record has ever won re-election.

An election model from the University of Colorado which has correctly predicted every winner since 1980 predicted Romney. Even the extremely liberal huffpost sees it.

The polls you're looking at are wrong. They're are using flawed procedures and not sampling accurately in order to influence the election. When you adjust the polls to sample the way they're supposed to, Romney has a 7 1/2 point lead.

But if you want to keep believing that go ahead. I guess you want to be surprised on Nov 6 like you were back in 2000....and back with the Wisconsin recall...and back in 2010 when we saw the biggest shift in power in congress in the history of the country.

And we all know Obama killed Jobs so.....

Edit- The Dow has nothing to do with the economy (there's actually studies proving it). It could go to 17,000,0000,000. It doesn't mean there won't be a recession. The stock market is based on people's perception of the economy. All the stock market going up proves is that there's a lot of stupid people who think the economy will improve. We already knew that. Or maybe some really smart people who understand what I said above and know Romney will win.

@ Dr. R- Do you even know who Steve Jobs was? It doesn't sound like it. You don't sound like you understand much of anything.

i'm getting a kick out of Republicans that look back 30 years for Democrat they think of became a foul President, yet completely forget approximately relating to the worst President in American background, who's in ordinary terms been out of place of work 7 weeks.

And now Steve Jobs is dead. So much for his ability to predict the future

who cares Jobs is feeding the worms now. The truth is unlike Clinton the President wasn't willing to give his company carte blanche in doing what they wanted.
