    It is used for vesicles...White blood cells use endocytosis to engulf any pathogens such as bacteria. By trapping the bacteria, the lysosomes in the cell can destroy the pathogen. A lysosome is a vacuole in a cell that is full of digestive enzymes. The Lysosome digests old cell organelles, invaders, and food. This explains why White Blood Cells are part of the immune system....!!
