Best and cheapest laptop brands with over 1.6GHz CPU?
i want to buy a new laptop, and i've heard asus,bell and toshiba are good brands. I also play games on my pc so i want a good CPU.i used to have HP compaq pc, i think it was compaq presario. i don't remember how many GHz the CPU was, but it was ok, not really good though.

Haha i can tell you dont know much in the computer area. Firstly you're right by saying asus and toshiba are good laptops, infact they are the best laptop makers, apart from some overpriced ones which i wont mention. Now what you need to realize is that the speed of the cpu (1.6ghz) doesnt dictate how fast the computer is, for e.g. a pentium 4 cpu running at 4ghz is slower than a i7 cpu running at 1ghz. Theres so much to it but its hard to understand at first, Ill just say this, get a laptop (asus or toshiba) with a cpu which is either an i5 or i7 and you wont go wrong, dont worry about the speed =)

i think on newegg you could get a 2.4 ghz with bigger screen for like 300 or 2.1 ghz for 250

go with an a apu you will find some amazing prices for a processor that is pretty fast
amd apus perform very well with3d games and come with a graphics card.
