Stretched my ears from 14g to 8g?

They feel just a tad sore but I think they're fine. Google searches told me not to but this was after the fact. It took me a long time to get them on, I put them in a little, waited 10 or so minutes, pushed them in a little further, etc. I'd say it took about 40 minutes to get it on all the way but they feel fine. I don't have any 12 or 10 gauge plugs or earrings, should I just keep it in? There's no blowouts or anything, I already checked

The bad thing about getting to that size that quick is that it can leave you with future problems.

Examples: CAT BUTT EARS, cuts/sores, thin lobes, etc.

You aren't in a race against someone.

Don't be those people who just does it because "it's cool and trendy" I see it as like an art-form and you have to have the patience for it.

The normal healing time is at least 3 weeks for EACH size.

It really does help in the long run.

If you plan to go bigger, I suggest you slow down.

Tapers aren't good to leave in either because it can cause your ears to be uneven.

    Source(s): experience. 1-1/4 stretched ears.
