Has anyone else found Mozilla Thunderbird to be slow?
I recently switched from the bloated Incredimail program to Mozilla Thunderbird for my email, but find it very slow to load, open emails, etc. If others have found the same thing and have figured out a fix, let me know in your answers.
I did not import any email folders from Incredimail, and the ones I have in Thunderbird are not overloaded - I go through them on a regular basis and clean them out.

It works well for me.
If you imported a large set of e-mail folders, you may benefit from defragmenting your hard drive.
