Is the starting quarterback for the 2013 Jets on the team right now?

As much as I love sticking up for Sanchez he has not gotten it done these past 3 weeks. He has the lowest completion rating in the NFL. Every time he plays you can be assured he will throw at least 2-3 picks a game. Sure you can make excuses saying he has no offensive weapons but if there is one thing we know about Sanchez its that he doesn't make players around him better. The players around him make him better. As for Tebow I don't think he is a starting QB on any football team. He may win but he wins ugly. Of seems like the defense have figured Tebow out anyone. Unless of course the Jets are just not using him right.

Yes. The Sanchise is still alive. The Jets need to get him CONSISTENT targets. It's absurd, really. He has had a great connection with Holmes so far this season and that's a product of two years work. His safety blanket is Keller and he's been out for the past few weeks (I think he's freaking nursing the damn injury slowly since he was verbally mad about the Jets not giving him a new contract in the offseason and doesn't want to risk a hamstring tear). Kerley has also built a good connection with Sanchez. Edwards? Plaxico? Hill? Could the Jets actually give Sanchez a reliable #2 receiver who they're not going to ditch? Hill is probably going to be that #2 receiver, and I actually don't think the Jets receiving core, when healthy, is that bad... Holmes, Hill, Keller, Shillrens and Kerley is certainly serviceable and I personally think underrated. Kerley, Turner, Clyde, Shillrens, Cumberland, Epps, Gates (most likely the Jets receivers next Monday against the SECOND BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL) is an absolute joke of a receiving core for Sanchez. If the Jets are seriously going to make Mark Sanchez throw to THOSE guys, they're setting him up for embarrassment on National TV, which is pathetic. Keller and HIll better get their *** back and play next Monday, or Sanchez is going to get killed... both by the Texans defense and the media and fans

At Bob: Rex isn't stubborn. The front office and Tannenbaum is stubborn for expecting Mark Sanchez to build an instant connection with a new starting receiver every year.

And I don't want to hear about Mcelroy... His weak arm and Hill's deep threat just doesn't mix together.

Yes Sanchez will still be starting and I see where ur coming from I feel likeim the last one to finally turn on Sanchez I'm begging fellow jets fans hold on that all I can say is hold on they will be 2-3 in a week 4-4 at the bye but have a strong second half where they could still finish with 9-10 wins

I know it looks bad right now but we are actually in first place and even tho that should count as 13 loses we are just 2-2

    Hold on

Trade away tebow for a conditional draft pick keep sanchez as a backup and draft a 1 st or 2 nd round qb

Unfortunantly for jets fans i think so. Rex Ryan is so stubborn for keeping in Sanchez i think he will be the starter next year. Hopefully for jets fans im wrong. If not Sanchez i think it will be a draft pick. I still dont see tebow as a starter here. I could picture him with the Jaguars, Bucs or another team with lower expectations than the jets.

I honestly think Mark Sanchez will rebound and the Jets will go 9-7 to finish the season. I agree Tebow is not a starting QB in this league and even if you did start him it would get you nowhere since the patriots have figured him out as well as the Bills just remembering Tebow losing horribly in those games.

You guys did give Sanchez a new contract a season ago and he is your future. He has improved every year statistically until now so I would just wait 4 more games and then see where you stand as a team. If you want to bail on Sanzhez and feel Tebow gives you the best chance to win then go for it.

It's hard to see the Jets just give up on Sanchez so I say Sanchez is the QB for 2013 he will rebound and throw for 3,524 passing yards 24 touchdowns and 16 INTs with a 58% Completion percentage. They will go 9-7 but just miss wild card to the Denver Broncos.

That's just my wild guess haha usually there right somehow.

Yes. Greg Mcelroy is on the Jets.

In all seriousness though, I don't think it would be a terrible idea to put him in at the end of next weeks Texans game if they're getting blown out just to see what he's got.

Tebow and Sanchez will get married after they are cut this offseason and they will live happily ever after

I may be a Pats fan but I'd be upset if my team's QB had a career rating under 80.....

  • 20 bucks says Mark has the game of his life this week.I know its against the Texans, but this game is the deciding point of his future as a Jet,i think he'll give it everything he's got.
