A biology degree is a great degree to springboard into nursing or a healthcare career.

I'd say nursing because there are so many specialties, so many job opportunities, high demand, and a very competitive salary.

You said you can't get into nursing school. There are lots of great schools, and some will have very strict requirements, others won't. If you can't get into your local nursing school, perhaps you should consider an online program.

There are many great accredited nursing programs.

This site has great information on becoming a nurse, getting into nursing school, salary information, and more:

Also, EMT is a great profession too. Lastly, you could always get an MBA.

Don't be afraid, all things will work out, and you will succeed!

Well, this is the problem with a Biology degree.

Some graduates find careers cleaning lab rat cages.

Others take seasonal work counting worms in fish guts.

That's about it. Weren't you warned?
