You can get a free transcript (computer printout of the info) by filing form 4506-T with the IRS. Getting an actual copy will cost money.

Get a copy from your preparer.
Pull a copy from your file cabinet where you filed it when finishing it
Print a copy from your computer where you saved a PDF copy
Request a copy from online preparer
Print it out from MyTaxManager at JacksonHewitt.com
Order a transcript from the IRS, can have it faxed while you wait
It is the taxpayer's responsibility to maintain their tax return and supporting records for several years

if you didn't save it or make a copy, there is no way
if you request one from IRS it is $57, if you had someone prepare your taxes they would have provided you a copy and if you lost that they will charge you for a duplicate
you can get a free transcript, but it is NOT a copy of your tax return
