Why do cons refuse to acknowledge the benefits that they receive from the government?
Is it that they are so unpatriotic that they want the government to fail.

It's the only way they can pretend that they are beholden to no one.
96% of Americans have received payments from one or more of the government programs most do in fact support.

Thank you for taht extensive and specific list of exactly what you are babbling about. It really made yoour question easy to understand.
Conservatives acknowledge that the government provides some services to ALL taxpayers. They also KNOW that ALL non-taxpayers are provided these same services along with a laundry list of programs that are NOT authorized by the Constitution of the United States, paid for by taxpayers who never receive a simple, "Thank you" from the recipients, and continue to grow unchecked.

There is no denying some people do need help. HOWEVER, Libtertarians and Conservatives alike do know that far too often, people abuse the system, and that Government should NEVER be a permanent solution to poverty.
I am for the trimming of waste from Government aide.
Allow me to provide a bit of wisdom from a wise man:
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer."

Cons are well schooled by 30 years of right wing lies off FOX FAKE "News"... makes a big difference.
FOX lies have only one aim - that's to Feed the Billionaire First.... that means as little help for people as possible while Billionaires get their brain-dead Bush Tax Cuts.

Why do you and liberals fail to see that everything should have limits.
Yes I want our aiplanes to be safe. No, I do not want Pelosi shutting off water to tomato farmers to save a minnow. No, I do not want the EPA telling us that a hill on private property is a wetland when it clearly is not. No I do not want gay education in our schools.

Given their advanced age, the average Republican is 100% dependent on the government teat that feeds them, and yet the bite the nipple. Hey wait a minute... mommy issues... closeted homosexuality... unprovoked rage. They're psychopaths! Best not to taunt them :-)

No one wants the Government to fail. If you know this for a fact then please provide a link or a source otherwise your just another drone for the left.
You might be careful making the slightest link between you and patriotism because according to the Obama Administration domestic terrorists are more likely to be patriotic and o things like fly the American flag.

The actor from "Coach" went on a rampage on Fox news once about how he had been down on his luck, living on food stamps and welfare, and no one helped him.

probably for the same reason some people automatically think preventing SOME people from abusing those benefits is the same thing wanting to ban them from EVERYONE..

Okay.
Thank you Mr. President for keeping my back in alignment by keeping my wallet thin enough not to throw it out of balance.
