What is your opinion about today's women?

First, let me say I am a woman.

I think women's lib has gone the wrong direction. The original purpose of the movement was to allow women to work in any job they wanted, be paid equally for that work, not be treated as sex objects and generally be afforded the same respect and legal rights as men.

We still aren't paid equally, but I almost never hear about that from "feminists". What I do hear is criticism for those if us who have chosen a more traditional lifestyle (I'm a stay at home mom, and get patronizing or insulting comments occasionally from alleged feminists.)

Feminism was meant to be about empowerment, but now its about "proving" something and hating men. I believe there is a symbiotic relationship between men and women, and hating men is counterproductive.

I'm sure some people are gonna get mad, but whatever, they'd probably be mad anyway...

Personally I'm disappointed in them. Modern women in general have been tainted/ruined by feminism, so as a result many..many...women nowadays have a huge sense of entitlement. They screamed and demanded for equality and consider themselves to be "strong & independent", but at the same time they also complain about how "men are no longer gentlemen" and how "chivalry is dead" when men refuse to see them as anything special and refuse to place them on pedestals. They still want/demand/expect special perks and to be treated like ladies even though they clearly aren't ladies. Today's women want it both ways (equality and traditional privileges). And men are getting tired of that hypocrisy and entitlement mentality.

Of course not all modern women are like that, but unfortunately so many of them are like that.

At their best, they're great. At their worst, they're pretty vile people who just so happen to get support from the majority of guys and society in general.

If there's any big issue with women today, you have to trace it to the men who enable them and the government who's overly-protective of them, giving them out ***** passes like there's no tomorrow.

The government thing can't be changed unless you're willing to risk millions of lives. The men thing can but the crowd's too ******* stupid for there to be any big changes.

opinion women today treated equally society

Most men like today's women. I haven't dated a man yet, that would prefer that I stay home and live off him. I couldn't do it, either. I can't see the point in making people disabled [unless they want to] in the workforce, just so that I can cook and clean, and have babies. Both people should be capable of bringing in an income, even if you only live on one income.

Most men like women that can discuss issues and interests, and have a mind of their own.

Women aren't your dogs anymore guys, deal with it

I like today's women.

Call me new-fashioned, but I'd much rather be with a girl who's also my friend, who shares similar interests to me, who can go blow-for-blow with me in a debate, than some meek barefoot-and-pregnant thing who exists only to bear my children and do my laundry.
