4^n+1 = 8^n
I squared both sides by n, then hit 4=8 which is no solution. Just making sure that's correct

4^(n + 1) = 8^n
4^(n + 1) = 4*4^n
so
4*4^n = 8^n
divide both side by 4^n
4 = 8^n/4^n
4 = (8/4)^n
4 = 2^n
2² = 2^n
n = 2
