General question - what do you think of the website Plentyoffish?

The infamous dating website?

What do you think of it, what are your views or experiences of it?

I have a friend who met a guy from another city on there and they met on Monday and he has stopped with her in her flat and is going home tomorrow!

I dont know how people can do that? Maybe I am old fashioned!

Over to you!

BE CAREFUL ! Its owned by "White label dating" and your profile gets seen by 46 other websites that you never joined.

I joined "40 Free and Single" and i appeared on:

    Plenty of fish

    Single mums.com

Granny slappers.com (ha ha im only 38 !)

    Sexin the uk.com

The list goes onnnn and onnnnn.

The blokes i met either had put up old old photos or were just up for sex !

I lasted one month and jacked it in ..... and even THAT was a night mare... the small (tiny !) print states you must ring them 72 hours before your membership ends and guess what .......no one answers the phone.... it's a big con.

    Not good hun.

I've had fairly good experience with it. Two boyfriends from it. They didn't work out, but let's face it, most relationships ultimately do not work out so that's neither here nor there. I used to think I'd never be able to do it either, but I spend time getting to know the people before I meet them in person. I find that if I spend a few weeks e-mailing them, slowly progressing to texting and calling, I've already developed a liking for them before the date happens. Despite the fact that people think it's so dangerous, I actually think it's safer than meeting someone in a bar or a club. You can spend as long as you want getting to know them and you can even check them out via facebook, public records searches etc before meeting them. You wouldn't have the chance to do all that with a random stranger in a bar.

I Think it has a lot of fake profiles, either that or british girls are incredibly racist when it comes to Indians, is that true ? Is it true that English girls just hate Indian guys and their parents teach them tp
