Essie nail polish: how can I get them to properly dry?

It's probably just me, but I noticed that when I try to use my new Essie nail polish, they're always very sticky and gooey even *hours* since applying. They had been kept out of direct sunlight, I kept one of them in a fridge for a day to see if it changed anything, but they just. don't. ever. dry. It wasn't until I tried using a topcoat from Sally Hansen did it slightly change, but it still stays gooey.

I keep seeing lots of people using them and being able to keep them nice and solid, and Essie does have some good shades and it is a shame if it's brand is so hard to use. I just want to ask how does ANYONE that uses them get them to dry.

You have to use *really* thin coats with Essie. Another thing you could try is a quick dry top coat. I put my top coat on when my nails are still tacky, and once the top coat dries (in like 5 mins.), my nails are good, no dents or smudges! I use Essies Good to Go top coat. Good luck :)

Keep them in front of a fan and don't put to many layers on or it will take longer to dry. But if that doesn't work try a different brand see how that works because most of mine is sally hansen and i don't have that problem.

    Hope this helps :)

well im not sure if his will work

but get some water in a bowl or any container and put it in the fridge for it to go very cold, dont let it freeze though and then put your nails in there and just wait for a few mins then take it out and let your fingers air dry, i hope this works!
