    Power = Corruption.

    It is impossible to avoid. Individuals go into the systems with the aspirations to not become corrupt and come out extremely corrupt.

    Example: Obama campaigned with the promise to bring solar and wind energy to power our grids. By his first State of the Union address he was touting the attributes of coal. Four years later solar is a failure and wind is still an infant while coal and oil are booming.

    The culprit = corruption due to lobbyists.
