Why do Americans hate English people?

They don't. Nor do 99.9% of Americans think people in the UK have dirty teeth. But most of the world think many people in the UK have SNAGGLY teeth. (Well-cared for, but not very straight.)

No not all Americans. in fact everyone I know loves you guys! (Including me)

Chin up about it! Don't be offended by stupid stereotypes. It's not like all Americans are in the same boat about stuff.

You will always find a rude person in any country. And then you will probably also find some kind and polite people.

The tooth joke is a classic, about the United Kingdom not having orthodontics, don't mind it, and also, "America" doesn't hate "England", it's some of the "AmericaNS", cause they're stupid, frankly I think the UK is a far more beautiful place than here.

I don't hate England...I think some Americans don't like the English because they hear the same as you. I've also heard that the majority of English people look down on Americans.

Not to mention, I've seen people make fun of how Americans spell or speak! :/ Yeah, have they heard of American English? It's where we spell things different ways because we pronounce stuff different ways.

Not to mention, you guys complain about us not learning languages when I constantly deal with non-English speakers. If you're an immigrant (legal or illegal), you should at least know the language! >:(

I don't and I'm an American! I have a deep respect for European countries and especially England. Plus English accents sound so cool, I'm jealous :/

People are prejudiced, plain simple ignorance. How about some compassion? My first language wasn't English, so what? Does that not make me a human? Ignorance
