Is there such a thing as The New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia?

And another thing, are my Catholic Encyclopedia and the New Catholic Encyclopedia obsolete?

There is such a thing as the Catholic Encyclopedia, you can find it online at http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/

No, they are not obsolete. They just won't include more current information, such as the current pope etc.

  • Official Church teachings come from the Church, sacred scripture and scared tradition and are compiled and explained in the Catechism.

Anything outside of that is not always sanctioned nor endorsed by the Church.

Anything that contradicts the Church is wrong. If the Catholic encyclopedia or new advent conflict with the authorities mentioned above, the Church is always correct.

The Church can not and has not errored.

"The ear that listens to salutary reproof is at home among the wise. Those who disregard discipline hate themselves, but those who heed reproof acquire understanding. The fear of the LORD is training for wisdom, and humility goes before honors"

No real future for you in metama physics besides establishing a cult. It's not an actual area of academia. It's a ill joke. No, the Catholic Church will not be big on ouija boards, tarot readers, witches or metaphysicians. The Catholic Church is about science as it is the inventer of the college and the hospital. It is not about garbage foo foo science.
