What reaction would you expect from a 14 year old who accidenly shot his friend?

I would expect him to be in a correctional facility, you know, like prison.

It depends upon whether or not his friend died as a result..you didnt' mention the results...if the friend survived with minimal repairable injuries. I would hope that forgiveness is in order between the two and the families...I am sure he would have regrets and hopefully learn not to be touching firearms until he is well educated on them and of age.

If the friend survived with devastating damages...he would probably be extremely upset and felt the urge to make it up to him or her...guilt...and remorse...he would need professional therapy to help him cope..

If the friend didn't survive..the same intense emotions and in need of professiional therepy to learn coping skills.

What he actually does depends on his age, emergency knowledge, mental status (could be a huge range from average to insain), whether ot not he was supposed to be using a gun, peer pressure, etc...
