Will $urt tippett have a negative impact on sydney swans team/culture?

Will they have experience the problems Brisbane had when Bradshaw and Rischitelli were offered up as trade bait for Fevola?

Already rumors are circulating that senior swans players are livid with tippett's alleged contract.

I wouldn't be surprised if he never wore the red & white, but was used as bait for on-trading to Suns or Lions. Just a feeling......

It's interesting to me that a guy who was pleading homesickness when he was an hour and a half flight from "home" (and nowhere in adelaide is more than 30 mins from the airport) has moved somewhere that is an hour flight from "home", where anywhere nice is an hour from the airport ... so homesickness was all a crock after all ... I'm wondering about the guy now.

So ... "quite possibly" is my answer (unless there was something sinister happening at Adelaide but that seems unlikely with Sando at the helm, he's hardly an unlikeable guy)

    Great to see you mate.

I hate deals like this because you just have to wonder how genuine he was about his playing future at the Crows. to end up at the Swans after all the talk about wanting to move to QLD.

Personally i reckon that he felt like he was playing second fiddle to Walker up on the forward line. which would account for any club will do but i ain't staying here. does sound right to you?

    cheers mate.

If I could use a quote by Mitch Morton after the Grand Final "My team mates didn't trust me, I had to give my heart and soul to this team"

Can Tippet do that? I doubt it...

he's one of my favourite players. but i dunno, as a swannies supporter i am not that excited he could potentially play as a swan. because from the gamestyle the swans play, they spread the ball so much that we don't really need a one target goalshooter. i think he'll be good, but not million dollars good, but a swan is a swans and we will welcome him with open arms :)

ps. that "born in sydney" excuse is bogus cause he moved when he was 2 months old lolololol

Look the only thing that's certain is he did NOT want to be at adelaide, finding out the reason for that is now more important to the crows than worrying about where he ended up.
