County song for Girl Scout troop to dance to?
The Girl Scouts in our area have a variety show with a different theme every year. This year it is going to be country. Our troop must pick a song and create a dance to it. I am lookig for songs not too modern and that they can dance too. It needs to be clean and have no inappropriate references such as drinking, drunk, sex, drugs etc...
Please add names of songs not just singers or the bands. Thanks much :)

Brooks and Dunn had a song called Boot Scoot and Boogie. I don't know if that'll help. Watermelon Crawl by Tracy Byrd I think would be a good one. George Strait has a number of songs, some of which date back to the late 1980s and early 1990s. You could check to see if he has any music that your troop is looking for. You could also check some of Garth Brooks's music. Alabama has plenty of stuff, like Mountain Music, If You're Gonna Play in Texas, and I'm in a Hurry. Life's a Dance by John Michael Montgomery is another good one. I hope this helps some.

You could try looking at Carrie Underwood songs, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, or the Dixie Chicks. That's all I can think of, sadly, all of those are modern. Hope that helped!
