Which is the best laptop brand ?

DO NOT US APPLE! Comparing the price, a dell laptop for half the price will have better specs than a macbook. The only POSSIBLE reason you'd get an Apple is for the look of the laptop, even then, Dell laptops look pretty good too. If you love OS Lion, you can even download that on a Dell. Don't listen to Apple fanboys, or haters either. I own some Apple products, but purely on the technical and reliability side, a Dell laptop works far better, is far cheaper, and will last you a long time.

The laptop world is mostly governed by Dell. They also has ranges for cheap (Inspiron series) to expensive and feature rich (XPS and Alienware series). Go for dell if you choose windows platform.

If you choose MAC then there is no option other than Apple. They are fast, reliable, power efficient and environment friendly.

Apple for Macintosh and Dell for Windows.

I have been using Dell laptops since ever. And they are durable and excellent performer. Best value for money.

Apple. Fastest computer and definitely worth the money. Easily portable and the computer takes 15 seconds or so to start up.

First choice is Apple (if pocket permits)

As per me DELL is good. As I am using it, I found it pretty good and and easy to handle.

I think HP is the best one.
