Any parents regret having children?
Alot of folks I know go on and on about their children, like there is no other reason to live on this earth other than kids.... But what about people who don't have children in the first place? Do they have a reason to live (I personally think so!) ? Is there anybody out there who regretts having children in the first place???

I regret it, but only when I'm being completely honest with myself. It doesn't mean I don't love my children, I do love them. I have no choice, it's biological. But would our lives have been easier, more fulfilling and happier without them? Again, when my wife and I are being COMPLETELY honest and objective about it, yes. Our lives would have been better without having children and we would probably live a lot longer.

My mother regrets having me at 19 years old, but she doesn't regret having a child period. She would have been much better off if she had waited until she was older and more settled in life. When I look at it, I don't blame her. I would feel the same way. I love children, but my husband and I are waiting until we've been married awhile, more financially stable first and when we've traveled a little bit. Once the kids come, your life is theirs. My mom is now making up for that in her mid-40s and doing what she always loved.
