Police officers all over the world to include the police from the richest countries are corrupt and routinely break the law whenever they feel like it. It is not just in the Philippines. We live in a corrupt world. If you want to know what it is like to break the law and get away with it then become a police officer but understand that it only works in your favor in your area of responsibility. When you go into someone else's turf your are no longer able to get away with your crimes.

Not really. You don't see the cops doing anything here. If they do respond to a complaint there will be 3-4 of them carrying assault rifles come about an hour or 2 after you call. Then they will say "do you know the person that did it?" They suffer from a whole lot of "do nothing disease". LOL

bonjour marc.
No, my brother is a sergeant in the police and I know all his affairs that are unjust, and he's not alone, most of the police uses their authority to get what they want, like free food in restaurants, free drinks in cafes, and most of all they 're policemen for beers not for the service to serve their country; that's a mascarade. C'est une façade rien serieux.

Mostly I don't.
But I don't trust many of the peace officers here (in Southern California) as well.
Source(s): I've worked with law enforcement in Metro Manila and Los Angeles County. Got lots of friends in the LAPD and other police agencies in SoCal, plus in the LA Sheriffs and CHP.
