Do you think my friends should be mad at me?
My best friend invited me to a bbq at her house today that I was supposed to attend. I drank too much last night and I didn't make it to the party and I slept so late I didn't call to say I wasn't coming. When I woke up another one of my good friend's called and wanted to know where I was and I said I wasn't coming and told her what happened. She said OK I'll tell them. Later I went to ask her where my sister was and she was being wicked rude and bitchy. One it wasn't her party and two I don't see a reason to be pissed off about it. And I don 't understand why my best friend is pissed off. The whole thing just seems juvenille and petty to me, but bothers me none the less. I just want to know if people think they should be mad at me about this. Am I downgrading it or are they being drama queens?

Personally, I would be a little frustrated if my friend was coming and then didn't even call to let me know. I would feel as if she didn't care. Now, I know you did not do this on purpose and they shouldn't be saying mean things or be super angry because that is immature. I would apologize for missing it explaining that you did not mean to miss it and will definitely make the next one. If they cannot accept your apology then they are bad friends. Yes, you made a mistake, but so does everyone else. Friends accept each other for their flaws.

Well, stop with the drinking then. Don't drink when your friends are about to throw a part in a few days. That way you won't be late. And yea, I would be mad at my friend if she was drunk and didn't make it to my party =/

You're being a drama queen. They might be to though. People talk **** about Anyone who's not at the party so get used to it and please don't listen to the first poster who can't spell for ****. They're ignorant.

Put your self in her position wat if u were waitin for her and she dent show up and she ddnt even call! Ill be mad too! Always think as if hou were them and then judge! ;)
