Where can I find oak galls?
I've looked online and can't find anything. I'd like to know where to purchase oak galls, either from a store or online it doesn't matter. It's for a Christmas gift. I'm getting them so my friend and I can make real, old school ink. The cool thing about oak gall ink, is that it darkens over time; instead of fading from the paper. Thanks a bundle!

I searched online and came across a site that did mention where they got them from, but they also said it was expensive.
From what I've read online so far, it seems you could go for a walk through a forest and take them from the Oak tree, or any oak tree that might have some. What the law is abroad regarding taking from a plant, I don't know, but here in England you can take the seeds from a plant but it's against the law to uproot wild plants ( not that you're going to uproot an oak tree...lol )

They seem to mention about the buying of the Oak Gall.
