Don't worry! You are not at a disadvantage, you are 14 and only in year 9! I am 18 years old, just started university and I still do not know exactly what I want to do, but obviously know the area of work I want to be in so I am studying it at uni.

At 14 I was absolutely clueless as to what I wanted to be. It's a hard decision to make, so no one expects you to have your mind made up already!

When it comes to your GCSE's, pick to study the subjects which you think you would benefit from in a range of jobs so you've got your options open!

When it came to my A-Levels I still had no set idea about what I wanted to do until it came to applying to university where I had to do a 'personal statement' that I HAD to decide!

When you're younger, you have a faint idea of what area of work you'd like to be in, and what you think now and what you'll think in 3 years time will be different!

Don't worry, your friends will probably change their idea of what career they'd like anyway! Or they may find they don't have the required grades to study further to achieve that career.

You'll decide in a few years and don't worry if uyou don't come to a complete decision because I still have my options open at 18! I'm going to see where my course takes me.

Goodluck and enjoy the rest of your teenage years :)

Most likely you will change your mind several times by the end of your senior year study up a little on what you think you want to be and see what you have to do to get their, look for what the benefits are how much money you will make and don't be scared to change it up compare witch one you would enjoy the most but also look for how much schooling you will need
