Chameleon eggs: can you tell if they are fertile?

I want to know if one can tell if chameleon eggs are fertile or not by visual inspection.

The reason why I ask is my chameleon is gravid but I only have had her for a short while and am not sure if she was with a male or not. I understand that chameleons can produce eggs without a male around but then of course these eggs would not be fertile.

I don't want to throw the eggs out only to find out they could have been little ones there...thanks.

Update:

Ok 'smart-alec' How can you tell?

when the eggs are laid, try not turn them at all when placed in a seperate container. then hold each egg over a flashlight. if it is fertile, you will see tiny veins and a pink ring, this ring should be on the part of the egg facing up. if the egg is rolled and this ring is no longer facing up, the embryo will drown. if it is not fertile, you will not see any veins or ring, and it may be a yellowish color inside. :) what kind of chameleon? some chameleon do not lay eggs, like the jackson's, they give live birth. any more chameleon questions, email me! horselover509@yahoo.com

Not sure if it's the same with Chameleon eggs, but it certainly works with gecko eggs....

In a dark room, and without rotating the eggs, hold an egg up to the light of a flashlight. If you see a pinkish hue or veins, it's likely fertile.

The first sign she is equipped to position is that she will stop drinking. You will detect the bugs in her enclosure do not look to be being eaten and that there is so much much less fecal subject. You would then detect her crawling on the flooring, or scratching at the enclosure. When you detect this form of indicators, role her in a huge field stuffed with sandbox form sand, making definite it is rainy plentiful that she will probably be competent to dig a burrow and it is going to no longer collapse on exceptional of her. The sand will must be at least a million.5 feet large. They like to dig down deep and take a seat down inside the hole even as depositing their eggs. If the sand is not deep plentiful or rainy plentiful they're going to no longer lay them. The field will must be deep and as an alternative wide (2.5 feet). DO NOT gift her foods even as inside the field. The bugs will main issue her and she or he may not wish to eat in any case. Do provide her heat and UVA/UVB lamps. Make unique the heat lamp is not to close or it is going to dry out the sand and would intent her to dehydrate. You would wish to difference to a shrink wattage even as she is in a additional restricted enclosure. You can mist her and gift her water nevertheless, do not disturb her! Do no longer maintain checking on her to look if she has deposited the eggs, she might require privacy. If your chameleon does no longer deposit her eggs or just a few of them, you can be competent to frivolously don't forget her belly to observe the presence of any eggs and take her to a vet immediately!! They would provide her a drug known as oxcitocine that's serving to contractions.
