Definitely not. Only a very small percentage of people owned slaves.
However, bigotry is an express result of African slavery.

maybe for a few. Only about 5 percent of southern whites owned slaves. So that makes the percentage for all whites even lower. So only for a few families but not for most American whites

Haha, what wealth? And my ancestors did not come to the US until after slavery was outlawed. Not that they would have had any part in it anyway, being from Canada.
