can someone explain French reflexive verbs to me?

Obviously you need your dictionary to look up the verbs you need to use.

1. If her make-up is totally weird, she needs to look in the mirror while she's putting it on - the verb is : se regarder. Now you get your grammar book and look up the imperative form. Remember it's Mme someone so you should be polite, and use vous.

2. If you have a class at 8 you need to get up early. And it's 'nous'.

3. Hector needs to dry his hair. And he's not drying someone else's hair so you're not using essuyer by itself - he's drying his own hair to make himself more comfortable - these verbs are mostly about doing something for yourself or to yourself, like getting washed, brushing your teeth etc etc - so it's s'essuyer. You look up the imperative - and remember, since it's just Hector, not Monsieur Duval, you can probably use -toi, just like the example you were given.
