Work advice..........?

I've been offered a new role within the company I currently work for but I'm unsure whether I should take it or not.

The benefits are that it's a step up on the career ladder and I will get a pay rise (although not a huge one) but what's putting me off is the boss as she's not the easiest of people to work with and also I'm not particularly fond of a couple of people in that team.

Any advice please...?

Take the job and progress your career - work is full of people we don't particularly like or get on with, but managing them and our response to them is all part of our self development. Hopefully you will progress further sooner rather than later and they will be out of your hair, although I'd put money on the difficult colleague and boss vacancy quickly being filled in your life. Step back , think of the bigger picture and that little extra money! Good luck!

Depends on the role. But, just tell them you feel like your skills are most valuable in your current role. Why is this role open? Because the boss is a jerk? That's a tough way to spend most of your waking hours of your life.

First of all, it is not allowed for a woman to work where she needs to interact with males. She is only allowed to work where there is no male interference.

However, if you cannot live without working, i mean your financial condition is dangerous which has forced you to work. Then you can by wearing proper hijab.

This is something you must decide for yourself, does the promotion and pay raise outweigh your happiness. Do you need the extra money? could something better come open later?
