Care yes, he'd be caring all the way to the bank. Most blues men (and women) as well as most musicians of all types pre-mid 60s had no delusions of "art". They went into the business for one or more of the following-To make a living, because they couldn't do anything else, because they loved playing, and...last but definitively not least-to get poonanny. As Ronnie Hawkins said to the the boys who later became The Band when he was trying to recruit them-"you won't make any money, but you'll get more pussy than Frank Sinatry"

Why didn't they use Wang Dang Doodle?

I'm sure he'd have taken the money.
And if the commercial prompts a couple of people to turn up in this section asking for more music like it, great.

Lol really? Man, I'm so out of touch in Mexico.
From what I understand, he was quite the personality, and intimidating to those who didn't know him. As was mentioned, I'm sure he'd have something to say.
Lmao Spencer!

I only know what I saw in an older movie the other day. I have no idea if he was portrayed anything like he really was but if the movie was even close...I think he'd have something to say. I assume those who own his estate are just glad to have the $.

I think the man who called his funky remixed album "F--got s--t" would not like it used in a viagra commercial.

I'm just glad his music is played on popular television networks.
