She can talk to her doctor about switching meds...not all will have the same side effects (or affect every person who takes them the same way)...if the issue is serious enough, have her ask her doc about it...
This would be more appropriate in Health...more medical types there to answer your question...

Hi William,
first don't worry about it. this happens to everyone. my wife was the same and then became ok after about a month. there are many different kinds of anti-depressants on the market and I would suggest you talk to a doctor as this would go against her well being (if she feels frustrated sexually and she feels that you are not getting enough out of it). My wife is on Citalopram 30mg. she does ok with it.
Try your best to comfort your wife (I know it is hard) but she will be feeling really vulnerable about all of this and will think it is getting worse. life can be really cruel sometimes but believe me it does get better you just have to stay positive.
Best of luck for both you and your wife.

Hi again William:)
I do alternate healing and have found niacin incredible with depression. Check it out on Google mate. The doctor might not know about this, so do your home work.

She might be able to try a different antidepressant. Most of the antidepressants do prohibit sexual desire, unfortunately.

She needs to talk with her doctor about switching to another med. That's the only thing I think that will help.
