Something stuck in V12 outlet in my car? Volkswagen Beetle.?
My little brother got ahold of one of my silicon plugs (earrings) and he showed it to me when I was in my car driving him. I got pissed and told him to give it back. He then put it in the V12 outlet before I could stop him. I couldn't get it out so I decided I would just wait till I got home. I went in and got tweezers. Anyway. Once I tried to get it out I didn't feel it in there anymore. I checked all over the car and my brother swears he didn't touch it again. Is there anyway it got stuck deep inside the outlet or got sucked underneath? If so is there anyway it could start a fire or anything. I check the whole car and under the car and I haven't found it. It's not finding it that is the problem, I wanna make sure everything is safe. !0 points for any answer that helps me figure this out. thank you

The way things get lost in cars is crazy.
While I can't promise for sure, I doubt it would start a fire. If the outlet were to short, it would blow the fuse. I see blown 12v outlet fuses blown all the time.
I don't think it could fall through or get stuck under anywhere. It should just be laying in the bottom of the outlet.
