Something stuck in V12 outlet in my car? Volkswagen Beetle.?
My little brother got ahold of one of my silicon plugs (earrings) and he showed it to me when I was in my car driving him. I got pissed and told him to give it back. He then put it in the V12 outlet before I could stop him. I couldn't get it out so I decided I would just wait till I got home. I went in and got tweezers. Anyway. Once I tried to get it out I didn't feel it in there anymore. I checked all over the car and my brother swears he didn't touch it again. Is there anyway it got stuck deep inside the outlet or got sucked underneath? If so is there anyway it could start a fire or anything. I check the whole car and under the car and I haven't found it. It's not finding it that is the problem, I wanna make sure everything is safe. !0 points for any answer that helps me figure this out. thank you

Have you tried a flashlight? If you look in there really good and still can't see it, it may be fine. There shouldn't really be a hole in the back of that plug for it to fall out through, so maybe it rolled out the front unnoticed.
You said the earring was silicon? If it doesn't have metal on it, try plugging a phone charger or something into the 12V outlet. If it won't go in like normal, the earring is probably still in there.
If you stick anything metal in there, just be careful that no power is going to that plug. You will know this by knowing whether or not you can charge your phone in that plug when the car is completely off. If you can normally do this, then it is a "constant-on" outlet. This means there is always power going to that plug even when the car is turned off. You will need to find the fuse (using your owners manual) and unplug it before starting. That, or disconnect your battery cable, whichever you think will be easier for you to do. If you can't normally charge anything with the car off, then just be sure you have the car off when you try to stick something in there to get it out.
I say all of this because if you stick something metal in that plug while power is going to it, you will probably be fine and suffer no long term affects from it, but you will most likely blow a fuse. And this will just add the unnecessary hassle of not being able to use that plug for anything until you get the fuse changed. (My girlfriend has a plug in the bottom of her console that change rolls in constantly. Every time it does, the change blows a fuse, I have to fish the change out, and then change the fuse. If only she would keep the cover on it...lol)
Like I said though, overall, if you can stick a phone charger in there all the way without it hitting something, you will PROBABLY be fine. Just be sure you look inside the outlet really good with a flashlight.
(Sorry I rambled)

Look into the 12 volt outlet with a flashlight.
If the plug is not in there, then test it to see if it operates a phone charger.
You may have blown the fuse with the tweezers.
Get some help at an auto store to find and replace the accessories fuse.
