Sears single shot 20ga shotgun...How much would it be worth?
I am looking at buying this from a neighbor who is moving. It seems to be in good condition. Wood looks great but the bluing is splotchy. She is asking 90....Is this a good price. I was thinking closer to $50 but I am not looking to screw them over.
Thank you everyone!!!

With this shotgun, as with any used firearm, it is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it, that the owner will accept. If you feel that is $50, then make your offer. If they don't accept it, maybe they'll come up with a counter-offer.
Check the prices of used shotguns on Gunbroker.com . Check the ones that have sold, not the ones, necessarily, still for sale.
Somewhere in the middle (between $50 and $90) would probably be a fair price, in general, if the barrel isn't bent, the stock isn't cracked, and the mechanism seems to work OK, and any rust is just surface rust, and not deeply pitted.
Good luck..

For $90 you could almost buy a Mosin Nagant rifle.
I would say $50-$70.
don't worry about the finish, look down the barrel. If it is pitted, don't buy it. Those old dept store single shot shotguns are a dime a dozen.

$50 would be much more appropriate. You can buy new single shots for a little over $100, and Sears was just a hardware gun.
