Is there a schedule or program that can email me to warn me windows updates are coming?

Every time windows updates happen, my mom freaks out and yells for hours. I want a warning so I can leave the house. I will pay money for a service that warns me ahead of time.

Update:

Yes, we do all updates, update software, etc. She's the only one in the house who does not work with computers for a living. Windows updates just don't draw my attention on my computer. On hers, they seem to overwrite her mouse driver every time which gets rid of the setting that turns the touch pad off when she has a USB one plugged in and she hits it while typing and just literally yells for hours, even after we fix it.

What I suggest is going into Windows Update and search for new updates. Install them, restart computer and go back into it and see if there are any more new updates. Continue to do so until it says there are no new updates. Windows doesn't always show all updates at the same time so you have to keep checking until it says there is no more. Then New updates are usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. (Called Patch Tuesday). Tell your mom not to freak out, updates are good for the computer security. Yes they can be a pain, if it updates while you are doing something and wants to restart, but they are necessary.
