On iPod Touch, can you update your newspapers without WiFi?

I'm at home and I have a couple of apps for newspapers - Mail Online and Metro (both UK). I'm not in range of a WiFi signal for the iPod. Can the newspapers be updated somehow via the PC/iTunes and then send them to the iPod?

    Without wifi or cellular data you can't receive new newspapers.

    Don't think so. Those usually are done on device.
